When you watch the opening to Enterprise, do you think: Civilization replay!

Whenever I watch Enterprise, the opening always reminds me of Civ: Trireme, rockets, etc.
Just wondering who else is nuts

"Enterprise" uses a history montage in it's opening, very similar to Cv-2

I dont know if its my Voodoo 5 with drivers that no one supports now days, or my monitor. But when I try and watch the intro I get refresh rate error displayed by my monitor itself. I can hear the sound, but the screen is black.

Luckily I can hit ESC and play the game just fine. Just can't watch the cool intro. :-(

Of course, but it's one thing to notice the connection, and another to say: Wow! Just like Civ!

I'm not a huge fan, but I enjoy the Trek series. I've only watched one Enterprise episode (I don't really watch TV these days), and I really hated the intro!!

It's not in keeping with the spirit of previous intros: "Space, the final frontier" stuff, and that pop-rock Bon Jovi-style tune is really bad.

REALLY bad. It doesn't fit in with Trek at all. <shudder> I'm getting all worked up just thinking about it...

P.S.: Hey, whatever happened to the 'vomit' smily? It was one of my favourites.
