I have an idea for a new mod. Sadly, I'm terrible at coding, art, or any of the other prerequisite talents necessary for creating one. So, I figured I would put my idea here, and if someone wanted to make it, awesome. Also, I'm a professional writer, so I could help with any text entries needed, if that might contribute!
The idea: A superhero mod. The superhero could be made as a great person, but purchased with faith points (G&K), or manufactured as a national wonder. Each nation gets to produce/ purchase one superhero. The unit would have tons of health, would travel ten units while ignoring terrain (like a chopper), and would have three different attacks (melee, ranged (laser eyes?), and a throw-back that would knock an enemy unit back one hex (if that would be possible). If stationed in a city, the hero makes that city impervious to nuclear attacks. The superhero could also lay roads/ rail in a single turn.
The superhero would take damage, earn promotions, etc., like any other regular unit. If the superhero dies, you don't get another one. You could also expend your superhero to build a "League of Heroes," Providing combat units on adjacent tiles with one experience point per turn, every turn (possibly at the expense of health?)
