where did my leader portrait go?

playing as Arabia and it was OK before but something came up and I had to save and do something else. Today I loaded my game again and lo and behold all of leader portraits are gone! WTH?

I broke it, sorry! Should be fixed in the v1.3 update to What Did I Promise that I uploaded to steam earlier today; let me know if not (ideally with info about what other mods you're using, and a copy of the lua.log).

Correction: Should finally be fixed in v1.4 uploaded to Steam just now.
