where is everything

i have been generating a lot of huge pangea maps to play HOF games on and ... well ... where the hell is everything? i just had to quit a game in the middle ages because there's no saltpeter on my half of the pangea.

yes, that's right, i said on my HALF of the pangea.

it seems like in C3C they have cut the amont of resources in about half. the horses, iron, the luxuries ... where are they? in PTW you'd see clumps of luxuries. in C3C i'm seeing maybe one luxury.

i'm also seeing a lot fewer cows. at least it seems that way.

what's going on?

No, really, nothing changes except a few graphics. Maybe you can't find the Saltpeter because of the new graphic?

Sorry, Cuivienen, but it actually has changed. C3C apparently produces fewer strategic and lux resources than we were used to in Vanilla and PTW. embryodead pulled the numbers out of the editor...

C3C Resource Distribution

The quick version is that C3C distributes about a third fewer resources for each map size.

Oh yeah. Especially if you play fewer than the max number of civs for the map size. That cuts the distribution even further.
