I am playing as the Egyptians in my game. I had two wars both with the Iroquois, one which I won, another indisvisive. I have changed to Republic and I am not sure where to my Forbbiden Palace. My capital Seems to be in the centre of Egypt. Any sugustion.

Cattaraugus, just finish the Iroquios and build it there. That way its nice and central to that side of the island. Right now your empire does not justify it, as its too central around your palace.

I hate when that happens. :)

I'd say Memphis or Giza unless you're planning on taking out the rest of the Iroquois cities very soon. The reason: either of those sites will promote two cities to first-ring status (with Memphis, Alexandria/Giza; with Giza, Alexandria/El-Amarna). None of your other possibilities grab more than one. (I'd ignore the island; it'll take too long to get those cities up and running and they'll always be smallish anyway.) My preference would be slightly toward Giza if the two cities' shield production is at all similar for the reason that there is still room for one more good city NE of Giza.

If you *are* going after the Iroquois soon, Grand River, being more central on the continent, would be a good location.

670AD and you're only thinking of this now? :)

In Memphis, definitely. Planning to build it in Catt will mean that your economy will not start to benefit from it until 1200AD or later, which is far too late.
