After noticing I did not know much about the majority of Unique Units in the game, I was thinking that people on the forum may know media that would do a good "representation" of these units.

I was thinking more about movies and reenactment depictions so it would be easier to see the uniforms and "style" of the unit.

Of course being movies is very possible that the depiction is very positive or negative. If anyone think this is the case, please say it!

P.S 1: I do not know if the forum's rules allow this kind of content. I just assumed if it was on YouTube is good to show, but if not tell me and I will close it.

P.S 2: I'm not an expert on military history or anything close, so these are the examples I found to be good. I did not want to add more units because I do not have enough knowledge and make a mess!

Some examples I personally think are good (Alphabetical order):

1) (Greece/macedon) Hetairoi/Hypaspist:

Alexander movie

Note (I just love this movie, and think the depiction is impressively good)

2) (France) Garde Impérial:

Scene Waterloo Movie:

"Garde Impériale" march in France:

3) (Rome) Legion:

Rome Tv show

Roman Army reenactment

4) (Spain) Conquistadors:

ORO movie

Conquistadores Adventum
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ll0jjrfhoVk

Note: Conquistadores Adventum is a very well made tv Show/documentary. The first episode was free on YouTube and it is by far the best content about this topic I personally know. But it seems they just decided to remove it and let the featurettes.

5) (USA) Rough Riders:

Rough Riders Movie

Note: I was unable to find anything apart of the movie. The Battle is very very inaccurate but the weapons and uniforms are spot on!

6) (UK) Red Coats;

The Patriot movie

Red coats reenactment

This entire film will make you fear and respect the Zulu Ikanda

I never saw the movie! It is a good representation of Zulues? I really have no idea, but I always suspect of "old" movies like with american's peplums, that have a very strange way of portraying classical Rome!

Considering its age and the fact it's a movie, I'd say it's pretty respectful and positive about the Zulu people. I wouldn't say it was perfect, but given the track record of historical movies and their lack of nuance and respect, I'd say Zulu is definitely an outlier and rather good. I enjoyed it, anyway.

As for the topic itself:
If you want to know more about the Winged Hussars, there is a lot of information out there. I was fortunate enough to see a re-enactment group called Husaria when they came to the UK to perform at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, but there's so much other info out there. I recommend Extra Credits' series on The Siege of Vienna and Sabaton History 053 about them.

A pretty absurd piece of 'historical' fiction, but nevertheless a great look into the Samurai is Tom Cruise's "Last Samurai".

I can't speak to its accuracy of portrayal of Samurai, but my eyes roll out of my head at the "Dances with Wolves, but with Katanas" plot of that movie.

I mean sure, 7 Samurai is a great film. But it's hard to watch for the average english-speaking audience and a lot gets lost in translation.
I think you pointed at the exact reason samurais (and other foreign cultural/historical stuff) gets misunderstood. The Last Samurai is sort of a film that gets "lost in the translation" as well in being adapted for the western audience. But who's fault would that be?

Thank you very much! you are giving very good info (and to think I never saw this episode of mythbusters :O)
