I don’t know what happened to you so suddenly, but for me, a very serious health issue appeared from one day to the next. Luckily, Italy’s public health system saved my life without ruining me financially. I was fortunate, and I wish you the same good luck!

Man if there was ever a time I wished I was a billionaire, it would be now! I hope you figure out a way to solve your issues. Thank you so much for all you've done over the years. You'll be greatly missed but I hope you'll stop by once in a while for a quip and a hello. Best of luck!

I started playing with VP about 7 and half years ago also. Been a wonderful, evolving ride. Always enjoyed and intrigued when you, Recursive appeared on the forums then took over the project! I can feel the passion you have for the project and your humanity as a human being.

It is rare that the 1 & Unly is held breathless; there really are no words... I will expend a great writer/artist in your honour, and must refrain from bleeding too much emotion, as it is against the doctr"UN", though trust that your efforts will be immortalized within Best Korean culture for eternity.
The (omnipresent) "Un" was with you from day 1, when you first arrived on the scene -- your retired OG handle which shall not be named, and I hope your current dealings have nothing to do with those prior disturbances.
I can recall you flourishing and basking in the golden age of Gazebo, yearning to fulfill your destiny. I remember your first contributions to this glorious project; we could all see the potential, and I was ecstatic when you took hold of the reigns.
Considering my own dire circumstances, I hereby pass on the luck of Paektu, which has seen me thrive for far longer than expected.You will forever hold your position atop the Supreme Council, and I am saddened that Best Korea was never released under your jurisdiction.
We all await your return someday.

I'm relatively new to the community, but wow, what a beast of a mod you all created and curated. I wouldn't touch Civ5 anymore if not for this mod. I have to thank you, Recursive, for pushing this thing further and further and providing all of us countless hours of enjoyment. Going out with version 4.22 is a statement, as I would consider it the best version I was able to play. Thanks for all the work, your patience in responding to the most basic questions, and providing a guiding hand to all the newcomers like myself. You can be proud of this, and I REALLY hope you will find some time in the future to actually play and enjoy it yourself without the perspective of a developer - as a fan of the game and the mod.
That being said, the most important thing is that you can resolve your issues and can come back stronger at the end of it. I wish you the best for the future. And never say never!
