Which civ do you hate the most?

which civilization do you hate being, for their useless traits, (war mongering pacifist), useless uu (musketeers even on epic i find they get outdatted to easy) or just hate their starting techs (fishing on a highlands map )?

and why ?

i hate alexander, scout at the start is annoying for mp, and phalanax is a defence unit for a warmongerer

I Hate Egypt, and Persia. Their UU replaces chariot and you get Horse archers a few turns later. Persias OK on world map because of oil.

Isabella she seems to get ticked off too easy and she always acts like a beeyotch.

i'd say any industrious civ except qin and maybe napoleon.

Immortals and war chariots are great UUs imo; horseback riding is an expensive tech early on and more importantly horse archers cost twice as much.

i like alexander, im agressive and use gp alot...
and btw its not really defensive if it doesnt recieve defensive bonuses

Isabella because she converts your neighbours and gets them to gang up on you. If you are of a different religion, she automatically hates you. Any attempt to spread a state religion is always thwarted when I start next to her.

Izzy and Monty get old quick. All of the hate you acrue can be a bother. I.E. if Izzy wants Theocracy for free, or a few bucks "to get to the bus station," then docks me a point for my trouble, I get angerfied. Monty pulls the same crap, and you never know when he's going to show up on your doorstep with 40 horse archers (yes, he once dropped 40 on me) and raze you to DEFF!

Meanwhile, they are both purty lousy Civs, so you can't use them to take them out of the game!

i learned to hate peter. normally it's not a problem to get friends with him, but i don't want to, i want to crush him. but in most games he's either technologically advanced or he just has insane amounts of all types of units. facing a enemy who has macemen, pikemen, knights and catapults and knows how to use them is a pain.

as for the civ i hate playing: none. all of them are fine. some are better for their civ's great UUs (rome, russia, persia), but generally you're able to get along with all of them. some are more challenging though.

As a builder, I'm always off-balance playing warmongers, but that's not really too bad. As for neighbors, Monty's a real bummer. He always seems to found Buddhuism, not spread it to anyone, then get all hot and bothered that everyone else is a heathen.

I can't figure out if this is about who we don't like playing against or who we don't like being. Since I haven't really used many civs yet I don't know who is useless or who isn't (although it seems spiritual is kind of worthless... anarchy doesn't last very long) so I'll just say Monty is the most annoying P.O.S. that I have played against. I will always try and kill him if he is near me because he cannot be trusted. In a monarch game I am playing right now I had about +12 diplomacy with him and maybe a -1 or -2 negative point score, and he still declared war on me. I must say it was strangely satisfying to burn Tenochtitlan(sp?) to the ground the next turn, however. I don't know if I should be garnering that much satisfaction out of a computer game. (Especially one where it makes me happy to raze a city of over a million people.)

Aztec & Mongols. Aztecs have some tough units before I can find iron (and those annoying elephants & horse archers before I get pikemen), Mongol keshiks can raid and burn all my cottages before I realize that they're there, even if they can't get into my cities. Genghiz once sent an army of about 12 units of elephants, crossbowmen, and keshiks all the way across the other side of the world then declared war on me the next turn.

My experience is limited, but I must say from my previous game that Saladin and Issabel was a real pain in the butt. Saladin had reason to hate me: I did raze some of his cities. For that, He declared 5 consecutive wars!

But Issabel! I had no fight with her, but she declared war because I declared war on her buddy Victoria, and because I was of a different religion. I must say, she is a b****.

Peter is ok, but he doesn't do much trading. Egypt has been very polite in all my games, and the best trading partner yet.

i hate louis xiv. all his "aren't i handsome" and "give me that now or i'll kill you attitude" does my nuts in. i now make it my mission whenever he appears on the map to destroy him whenever possible

Oh yeah, gandhi sucks too. Not because he's aggressive, but because he's NOT aggressive. Everyone makes friends with him. Refuse a few tribute demands by the nicest guy in the world and all his buddies are gonna beat you to pulp.
