Which level are you usually playing?

I now play on emperor, finding it difficult to catch up with the AI Technology when I enter classical age, losing nearly all of the great wonders. The situation will not change unless I declare a war and make the capitulated. What difficulty level do you like most?

I play at Monarch, or Prince. Despite 20 years of CIV I can't win at higher levels and I hate to lose.
