Yes, but even if the english or french did decide to attack us, they would still have to pass by the US, and if we got the US into the war, they could still slow down the english or french considerably. We have friends in the west that could help us take Bablyon, so why not do it? The are the threat. The US can easily be taken later.

I see your point now about being able to use the US against the english and french to "cushin" the blow of an attack.
But, as I look at Babylon, I just checked the 3 major allies we might use against Babylon. The Russians, the Indians, and the Iroqouis are ALL unwilling to concider an alliance against Babylon, which means if we go into a war with them it will either be alone, or after we improve some diplomatic relations, probobly by aquiring more to offer.

Also, according to the Histograph The Americans are only slightly less of a threat then the English and French combined (using all three graphs). And the English are weak in their own right in all three graphs.
I'd also concider the Bab's fairly avg. or even weak if it weren't for the huge culture advanatge.
We have nothing to fear from the English, a little to fear of the French, slightly more to fear from the US, and the most to fear (culturally) from the Babs (at least from my analysis).

Should we post an official poll on our next war using this as the base discussion thread?
It seems we are all in agreement that we want to fight America and Babylon but there may be a consensus that a short war against Russia would be prudent at this juncture.

Keep in mind that they will definately not consider it until we declare ourselves.
While I would love to continue discussion on this topic, because preparations will be different depending on which enemy we choose, we need to decide quickly so these preparations can begin. There does seem to be consensus that our options are Bablyon, Russia or America, so I will post a poll to determine which of these people favor.

We need more cities for more military units. If we easily attack the Americans we will be able to support a military that can kill the Babs without the cost of military alliances. I vote for attacking the Americans!
