I voted random, lets see how the game plays first. We can start choosing particular civs when we want to tryout particular traits etc.

After thinking about it - changed my vote to semi -random.

Random in that it is any civ - as long as it has the Spiritualist trait (Religious).

This will allow us to change civics ( and test them) - with out suffering anarchy.

Which I believe is one turn for every civic change.

Indead, and that way, people get to try out the civs before voting for them (atleast for the lucky who own the game and can run it).

Why is it bad to take a vote when you not know what "REALLY" comes ahead... OTOH I see your point, though. Maybe I've been to fast going for "random" here... But I would go there again, I think...
