Anyone? When i say turn-based, i mean not by e-mail or turnless mode.

I want to form a kind of group from here or Apolyton simply because i dont want to have to deal with either l33t h3ck35s or people that play until they see they might possibly lose so they quit (Good god i hate them!!!!)

If anyone wants to, reply in this thread and my e-mail is werdhertz@hotmail.com

I have MSn so you can add me, and i also have AIM which is KillahHertz

It doesnt matter what time zone you are, as we can figure that all out once we see whos interested! Doesnt matter about the amount of people, as long as this is a kind of group that will be able to have organized games with people that WONT QUIT WHEN THEY SEE THEY MIGHT POSSIBLY LOSE ARRRRGH

Well, I'm interested. One small problem is that I live in Sweden and it seems that we won't get the game until late November.

But that can always be solved.

Anyway turnless mode sounds to be most suitable for me.

I'm interested, but I don't know when I can/will get the game(PTW).

I'm using 56k at the moment, so I figure turn-based games are probably most suitable.

Don't know how good PTW is. Playing Medal of Honor AA online my PING's about 170-280 on most servers, but on other games like Jedi Knight 2, my PING's about 550-999:(. Any idea what PTW is like??

I guess not until the game comes.

I think a poll can be put up surveying people's internet connections. be interesting to see how many 56k people actually want to buy PTW 100%.

Well when i played Quake 3 on-line and kicked everyones a$$, i had a ping around 200-250 because i also have 56k. It'll be awhile for me to play turnless, unless i can hook up my two computers:hmm:

count me in too!
but I think the time line will be a problem for people in both sides of the atlantic.
I'm in the west side y'know

Count me in, notify me, etc. etc. Broadband in Eastern USA.

56k people are welcome, It doesnt matter! Playing turn-based shouldnt be much of a problem for anyone, as long as maybe someone on broadband hosts.

Ill try and make all the time zones work, dont worry lol. Anyone that replyed would you be able to post your email, and anything else? Also, your time zone would be nice...

Count me in as well. Although many of you might not know me, I have been a somewhat frequent visitor to the Civ Fantics site and have been anxiously wiating PTW to come out...:)...Anyway I am out here in Maui but have broadband connection and have a 250 lat. I play other games on-line and never crash out or get booted so distance isn't a problem. PTW should be in my hands by Friday and I can usually play in the afternoons/evenings during the weekdays and anytime during the weekend, especially since all of you are hours ahead of me so I can play over a cup of coffee...:)...
My address is mauiduck@maui.net and I'll e-mail you too, but I thought I'd respond here as well. I look forward to playing with all of you sometime soon...:)

I want to be you.

Its 32 degrees here tonight, and I'm freezing my coconuts off. ;)

@ werdhurtz -

I am interested in turn-based multi play, but I think with the bug situation, its best left to PBEM for now.

Richard III has an open thread for a game that will start tomorow. We have 4 players solid, so there are 4 openings as of right now.
Anyone interested, apply within. :D
