Why am I losing 1 influence if I build alongside my monument?

This has been driving me crazy. No matter what I might build in the district with the monument, I lose an 1 influence yield. Any ideas why?

The only thing adjacent to it is my palace, granary, temple of jupiter, and basilica. For what it's worth, this -1 influence if I built alongside the monument has existed from the very start, before I had anything other than the palace.

Maybe it's just a bug. I'm sure, as more players, gets their hands on the game and start digging into these things we'll get an answer.

It's just weird. It says -1 influence to other buildings, but there are no other buildings providing influence. Maybe the monument needs to stand alone? I have no idea.
