Why have Transports got an attack rate of 1? They are too weak to attack anything. I cannot imagine a ferry madly trying to ram an enemy battleship.

Have you watched the animation of it attacking? :) There's a little guy on the back of the transport manning a mounted machine gun :p

Yes, one could mount a machine-gun on a transport, but why bother? A Transport would still have no chance against a warship.

Hehe, I use unneeded transports as high speed, cheap raiders. They actually are effective
attacking ironclads, even destroyers and submarines! (Of course they are unloaded,
otherwise I would lose a boatload of marines)

Well, Can't attack a warship? Imagine my surprise. I attacked and sank a battleship, uncovering the transport. The only ship close enough to attack again was the carrier I was escorting... A carrier is not a ship of the line, of course, but it does have attack and defense... so. The transport sank my carrier.:(
