So after 5 straight technical scraps during the weekend (even before we reached the medieval era) and because of the constant problems previously I decided to stop playing civ multiplayer.

The problem is: People with trash pc and connection are ruining this game.

Now in an ideal world these people wouldn't even try to play and screw everyone else's enjoyment, but sadly we are living in a trashy world, where these scumf*cks don't give a crap.

In addition the NQ community does not have any measures to filter these people. I am not saying the group has to ban someone immediately just because of a single dc, but if a game is scrapped because of a certain person then the player has to be reported and banned after certain amount of violations.

Is it harsh? Maybe. But that's just my opinion anyway...

cheers Faerie

Problem with NQ is that they grew to fast, there are no real systems in place to validate the players. And yes, most of my games end up being scrapped too

You have to give people some chances, sometimes you can have a good connection normally, and have it go haywire for a day, and screw up a game or two. But when people consistently DC then there should be a system in place to get rid of them.

As a host in the NQ-Comunity u are not forced to accept all the players that are joining your game
So the host can sort out those players that he or other players in Lobby know for Problems.
sadly ondly the good host's are doing that while most host are just accepting everybody to start a game as fast as possible
