Why Korea as a Civ?

Arabs and Ottomans never same nation.Arabs usually like money and their country governed by islam. but Turkey is never governed by islam. Arabs lived in the society ruled by Turks a long time ago just like hungarians, greeks, and etc. and Arabs have betrayed turks.

Some reason why you don't include the english. started later but lasted a while.
Germans as an empire? really not until 17th century.

Don't understand question about the English. They belong in any Civ game.

Germany as an empire might be thought to include the Holy Roman Empire of the High and Late Middle Ages. Not Charlemagne's version, however, that was French if anything. Besides, the U.S. as an empire is even later than the Germans.

Korea, compared to the others, is marginal, but OK.

Ehh, the Franks were a Germanic tribe, and given that Charles was in the 8th-9th Century, I'd say that the Carolingians at least were still more Germanic than Gallic. The France itself I don't think could really be said to have technically existed before 987 when the Capetians took over (if you want a firm, specific date - I'd be willing to say that the Carolingians began the change into a non-Germanic tribe).
