To all the bugs that are still obviously in the game after the patch.

I feel sorry for Sid. I have been a loyal fan of the civ series since it was first released in 1991 and up until now it has always been a pleasurable experience.

I'm sure he regrets chosing to deal with such a sorry excuse for a company.

I hope so...his reputation just went down the toilet. (yes, i doubt he wrote one piece of the code, but it is his name on the box)

He can't be happy about it but I wonder if he even knows...does anyone ever recall Sid signing on to a forum? Or even lurking? He may be so removed from the forums that he is unaware of the tempest in a teapot over here. He works with his developers and with the 2K marketing types and everyone tells him things are hunky dory and what isnt will be fixed in a patch...spin, spin, spin. He may not even be aware of the issues in any detail.

Isn't he on some promo tour? Maybe someone should bail him up and tell him all about it :D
On the other hand, the burly security types may put a quick end to that. One wonders how to get a direct email to someone like that - not filtered through the company so only the good/acceptable news gets through.
On the other hand, you would imagine he might "lurk" in the forums every now and then... we can only hope!

Wasn't there a "talk to Sid" button on the game site? or maybe it was for Civ3. I agree, he really should be aware of what a mess this company has made of his legacy.
