Why so little snow?

Previous game 0 snow tiles, current game 1 snow tile. I'm looking for block of 5 tiles so can build Amund.

Preferences: GS, High water, cold, continents, everything else standard except for choosing a civ to play.

The world generator used to create a bunch of snow tiles, but suddenly it is not. Would old world or new world add more snow? Or is it more my luck with lottories?

Its completely random. Current game I have a lot, last game I struggled as well.

Thinking some more about it, I don't think it's really random. I've been using a saved configuration which includes the seed. It's the seed. I have not tried justing editing the seed number to see if that makes a difference. I'll try a config without using current seed and I bet the results will be different with a new seed.
