Why?!?!?!

I just installed the new patch and it has totally messed up my game, which i cant play now regardless of uninstalling and reinstalling (using the new patch that is)

I keep getting an error message that says "Please inster the CIV3 CD-ROM, select OK and restart application"

then i hit ok, and it closes.

Any ideas?

You're not alone.

I installed the patch - and my Editor no longer worked!! It wouldn't work even after I uninstalled the patch.

I had to remove the game (after saving all the new Art files, mods, and saved games), reinstall it, cut and paste the Editor into a different folder, install the patch (the Editor did not work), replace the current Editor with the one I saved, and then replace the folders I saved with the unique Art files and saved games and edited mods. The Editor works now.

I spent all evening doing this crap, Firaxis. Good job - not.
