Widescreen issues

Greetings one and all,

What options are there regarding running CIV3 on my Toshiba Widescreen laptop? The horozontally stretched map is finally starting to get to me.

Also when is CIV4 out, have heard conflicting reports that it may be out later this summer???

Have you tried adding the option
KeepRes=1
to your civilization3.ini file? (ptw.ini/conquests.ini, as appropriate).

And Civ4 will be out ... sometime. The last semi-official thing I heard was November, but lately there have been mentions of September 30.
