I bought a new computer to play Civ6. It's got 8GB RAM, an i5 processor, and an Intel HD Graphics 530 card. I've heard those cards are on the low end, so I'm wondering if Civ6 will be able to run it. I don't trust canirunit.com because they say I can't play civ5 on my old laptop even thourgh I've got 70+ hours on it (on my old laptop).
Can you help me out here?
I'm willing to upgrade my computer, I'm thinking I'll get a Nvidia 660 if need be.

Hi man. Currently you don't actually have a discrete graphics card. Modern processors are what is called an APU (as opposed to CPU), which is essentially a CPU and a (low power) GPU on the same chip. If you have a 530 then your processor is a "Skylake" generation chip, which means the graphics aren't actually *completely* terrible. What this in turn means is that it should play Civ 6 but with low or perhaps medium graphics settings. You'll also need to careful about resolution, anything higher than 1080p is probably out. No promises mind you so it's probably worth checking the Intel website, someone told me they keep an up to date list of which games will play on their newer processors. I've never actually seen this myself but my source is rock solid, so to speak.
