Will Civ 5 work on a HP G71-340US if I turn down the high graphics in the game.

If I change some settings in the game (Quality, Detail, ect.) will it work.

The graphics card of that machine is so weak, that you probably would have to additionally pray to get it work.
-> i do not recommend to buy that laptop, the game might not run.

If you already have the laptop you could try the free demo available through steam. That may give you an idea if it will do anything.

If the intro movie plays, you should be ok. You definetly need to turn the leaderheads to the lowest setting, before adjusting anything else.
