Will conquest patch 1.22 update civ 3 to 1.27?

I am downloading the patches for CIv3 conquests for my new PC and wonder do I need to install the basic CIV3 patch (1.27 I think or whatever the latest is) or just the conquests 1.22 patch and that will also patch my original civ3 game to the latest version??

Do I need to download the 1 patch or both??

If you installed Conquests, it patched your vanilla Civ3 game to 1.29f, and either installed PTW v1.27, or patched your existing PTW to 1.27. So all you need to do is patch Conquests to 1.22, and you should be good.
