Will 'Realism' mod work with patch?

With the new patch, I was wondering should I delete all my old games and restart new ones with whatever mods I have? I like the 'realism' mod found on this site and wondered if it will work in conjunction with it?

I had some save games from the realism mod and tried to load them (they were on huge maps and I've abandoned them due to the terrible lag). Guess what, they work alright (no problems at all, no instability, nothing) AND they are playable now! Not excactly fast or anything, but playable nevertheless.

No it doesn´t work when you load the mod it deactivates patch
