Win 2000 boot

I really feel like an idiot saying this but how do you boot from a cd in win 2000? Do you just insert it or is there something else you have to do?

You have to change a setting in the Bios. It had nothing to do with what version of Windows you have.

Change the boot order in the BIOS so that the CD/DVD drive is before your HDD.

then it is not bootable CD. perhaps it is not original?

i have no idea, i have like 5 win 2000 cds but i forgot which 4 are broken/useless
