I, sadly, do not have WinCiv anymore, but I loved its soundtrack, especially the intro.

I tried looking on YouTube for music from WinCiv, but to no avail. The DOS music sounds nice but WinCiv is more nostalgic for me (and with more 'advanced' instruments)

If anyone has WinCiv, could they upload some of its soundtrack to YouTube? Notably the intro music and New Game cutscene. Thanks!

Oh. My. Goodness. Yes.

The nostalgia...now if only there was the new game cutscene available :P

Well, I found this on YouTube. The opening is a bit different, but the new game introduction is pretty much the same.

It's funny how CivDOS's music is more varied than WinCiv's... I didn't remember that.

Yeah, 'cos with DOS you got all these different sound systems with incredibly different...well, sound. Windows didn't need to have that amount of variance because there was practically one kind of sound card. At least I think that's what you're talking about.

I remember what the introduction looked like, but not what WinCiv's sounded like :P.

Actually, I'm talking about the music itself. As you can see from that YouTube video, CivDOS's intro music is significantly longer than CivWin's.

That said, I do like CivWin's music a bit more. It's just much shorter, for some reason.

If you're so nostalgic about CivWin, it's not that difficult to obtain the actual game :)

I've had some trouble looking for it myself, but then again I might be overlooking something.
