Dear Forum Members,

I recently got a computer from a friend of mine. This computer contains Windows 2000 NT Professional. I felt it was OK to install it, which actually did well. My problem with this is the game moves VERY SLOWLY. Why is this? Is there a way to fix this? I have tried to fix it by right-clicking on the exe. file and selecting Properties....I then clicKed on the Misc. tab. and moved the Idle sensitivity bar to the right. It was still not working! <sniffs!>

What can I do? If anyone, i mean ANYONE knows how I can fix this, I am eternally grateful !!!

All the best, and thank you in advance,

Best way to create a small partition for freedos or msdos 6.22 or win98's dos 7.0.

CivDOS won't run on dos emulation just under true dos.
Maybe the freeware program 'dosbox' could also help you.
I didn't try it but it should do much better dos emulation than nt.

I got it to work under Windows XP without sound. I managed to get sound by using VDMSound. It also works under the latest version of Dosbox. The game does seem to move slowly, but it seems very manageable.
