I have a machine that under Windows XP Railroads ran fine. I did a clean install of Windows 7 and now I get a crash, but not when playing the game. I get a crash after selecting my options and clicking start. The load screen pops up and then boom, crash.
I haven't seen anyone else with this problem, and have contacted 2k games but have gotten no response yet.
Anyone have any experience with this or know the trick? I tried fixing the exe as suggested for Vista for the use of more than 2 gigs of ram, but this didn't fix the problem.
I am actually loading up the latest nvidia drivers from 11/09 to see if this helps, although it doesn't look like a video card issue. Still...
I am afraid I may no longer be able to play Railroads, which is quite depressing!
