Recently upgraded from XP 2 Windows 7 on my PC and now I can't run CIV 4 or BTS. Attached is the error message I keep on getting along with the dxdiag. It apparently is something dealing w/ 3d object rendering, but I'm not sure if it recognizes the graphics card. It's a NVIDIA Fx5200 128 MB which is on the low side but still allows me to run Windows 7 so??? I hate to ask, but since I get the same error messages in XP mode, I'm assuming I need a new graphics card?

From your DxDiag.txt:
---------------
Display Devices
---------------
Card name: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
Manufacturer: (Standard display types)

You want the actual drivers for your card. Check Windows Update, Win7 is pretty good
at detecting the correct drivers for pretty much anything. Or try nVidia's own site.

:badcomp:nvidia website doesn't list a Windows 7 driver for my graphics card, only up to Vista, so even though I can run everything else perfectly fine, I need another card to run any games on this computer...sigh

Not really. You can use Vista drivers for Win7, just make sure you get them for
the right type of Operating System (32bit or 64bit).
I did that myself during the beta testing of Windows 7, with minimal issues.
I do agree though, that a new card is probably needed, not only for Civ4, but
to take full advantage of Windows 7 and whatever other games you might like to play
