AthlonXP 2600/512RAM/Radeon 9000.
And newly accuired Maxtor 200BG SATA disc (bootable).

Two NTFS partitions. Primary bootable with 30GB and secondary with the rest.
It all worked great for few days.

But one day, it loads up to WinXP logo and then black outs and freezes.
Similar with Safe mode. After it loads some drivers it freezes up.

If I try Recvovery Console or even Windows Reinstall it freezes up again.

If I load WinXP from my old emirgency IDE 8GB hard disk, it only loads if SATA disc is disconnected (physicaly). If connected it also freezes up.

If loading Partition Magic from rescue disk it says that SATA disk it inproperly discmounted and gives error code #1516. I searched on web and it reads that only way to fix dimounting was to use chkdsk from recovery console. And I can't really start recovery console. Or reinstall windows.

Only soultion I think would work would be to delete all partitions on SATA disk (Partition Magic) and then reinstall WinXP. But then I can't save any data, can I?
Plus, there is still a risks that it can all happen again.
