I have created a mod that currently adds a total of 60 more Great Writers to the game covering all eras. This mod is currently WIP. It is currently missing all biographies (I do intend to add these eventually, but it is admitedly a lot of work).

As we currently cannot import artdef files, I have included a replacement .artdef file that should be copied into your Civ VI game directory (specifically, .../steamapps/common/Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\ArtDefs) This step is optional and the mod will work without it but the writers will visually appear with the warrior model. Sorry there is nothing I can currently do about this.

Download here (Dropbox): https://www.dropbox.com/s/htvx0ug53yarj1a/More Great Writers.zip?dl=0
It should go in your 'mods' folder.

If anyone has any suggestions about specific writers I could include in future versions I am keen to here them.

Thanks and Enjoy!

Well, Is it okay if I try to include some from my own backyard? You can either choose the english name or the native name for the works, fine by me.

Raja Ali Haji
Modern Era
Twelve Gurindam
Whosoever to his faith holds not
Is a man whose name will be forgot.
Whosoever understands these four
Truly stands among the knowers.

Tuhfat Al-Nafis / The Precious Gift
This ends the history of Bugis and Malays
Which I wrote with a mournful heart
Because it was His Excellency's wish
That what was past should be recorded.

Chairil Anwar
Atomic Era
Aku / Me
I'm but a wild animal
Exiled even from his own group
Even if bullets pierce my skin
I will still enrage and march forth
Yang Terampas dan Yang Putus / Some are Plundered, Some Break
I prepare the room, and myself if you come
And I can relay new tales for you
But now, only the hand move freely
While the body is silent, the lores and events gone and frozen

Ronggowarsito
Industrial Era
Sabda Tama
Please be expectant and wary
About the Age of Wrath.
For the people's need to fast their personal egos
To maintain from maddening clashes,
That only bring strife.

Serat Kalatidha
Have witness to the Time of Madness.
Where confusion clouded action and mind.
One does not stand a chance in the madness.
But keeping One's sanity, meant
That they wont get the part of the spoils.

Mpu Tantular
Medieval Era
Kakawin Sutasoma
It is said that the well-known Buddha and Shiva are two different substances.
They are indeed different, yet how is it possible to recognise their difference in a glance,
since the truth of Buddha and the truth of Shiva is one.
They are indeed different, but they are of the same kind, as there is no duality in Truth.

Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha
And so, God Indra dictate his will, for his order to be enacted.
That a human of great prowess, an ally to destroy His enemy, to be summoned forth.
The man is Arjuna, who is recently heard meditating alone with a wish for glorious victory.
Alas, if he is The One, then surely call him, but let it be known that the path for the boon is perilous.

Thanks for these kul! I have (hopefully) solved a couple of issues and updated the mod to v2 and I have included kul's suggestions while I was at it.

I have a demand... err... suggestion for ya:

Robert Jordan

Information (or Atomic could do, I suppose)
The Wheel of Time
"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again."

The Dragon Reborn
"One pretty woman means fun at the dance. Two pretty women mean trouble in the house. Three pretty women mean run for the hills."

**The first quote could apply to any of the books in the series, really. He also did books in the Conan series, but TWoT is his magnum opus.
