Wonder Culture in Captured Cities?

Playing noble level with patched BTS. I have noticed that wonders built in a city before I captured it do not show culture contribution after the capture. Not even after the revolt ends. Do the captured wonders ever contribute culture again? Do they lose other benefits? I know some benefits can be lost immediately upon capture because I have a certain tech, but I thought culture always continued.

Captured Wonders will never produce culture for you. This is the "price" for capturing rather than building yourself. All other benefits of the Wonder stay intact. And you do not even need to have the techs to get the benefits.

Thanks for the clarification. I wish the capture price was like 50% off the original culture value.

Also, I found that you gain some of the benefits even while the city is still in revolt--for instance the Kremlin discount or +2 exp. from Pentagon.

The pentagons bonus applies to every city.

Stonehenge produce culture to a small extent since it'll provide a free monument.
Also stealing "The Sistine Chapel" will provide a portion of free culture along with the specialist if you for example are running mercantilism.

edit:typo

Also you can get culture from capturing buildings if you play as the Incas and capture a city with a granary. The granary is converted into the Incan UB Terrace = + 2 culture per turn.

A point easily lost on people. That's the reason you don't need to put it in your military city.
But I still forget that every game I play.

One question along similar lines: can a building that multiplies culture be captured (broadcast tower, or Cathedral/ect)? I never really pay attention to that stuff, since those buildings aren't something I car about in a brand new city (and I normally build Eiffel tower, anyways).

None of the cultural buildings survive conquest or culture flip (with exceptions such as granaries transferred to terrace, which were not producing culture before), but they'll stay intact if you obtain the city through AP resolution.
