I knew Heinkel had a jet fighter 'beta version' flying in 1938.
But officials stated that the Me109 series was more than enough!

How different it could have been!
The RAF wouldn't have stood a chance against those machines!

Nice Eagles, Iceblaze. I actually do like the F15!

(But a well flown Su 27 would pummel it of course!)

The German Me1109 WW2 jets fortunately didn't get past the glider test phase...Lucky for we Allies!

They do look like fun to fly though!
A bit like the Austen Mini of the jet world!
