i like theory of evolution because it adds a jump to your already-advanced civ and puts you ahead of the game. Also, a good strategy is if you are really far ahead of the other people, just never build it until the modern era, where it really comes in handy.:D

Out of those listed, I'd say Sistine Chapel, with Universal Sufferage coming in a close 2nd.

It's hard for me to choose an all-time favorite, but Hoover Dam, Magellan's Voyage, Universal Sufferage, and Sistine Chapel are at the top of my list.

The hell??? Where's the Hoover Dam??? W/ that SOB I'd be hard pressed to pump out my military in the modern age. Of those choices, I go w/ the Sistine Chapel. The less work i gotta do to shut my citizens up the better.

Colossus. The Colossus virtually never expires. Flight is the thing that nullifies it and I find that by the time flight comes around, I am dead anyway.

In Civ2 anyway
..haven't been able to build it yet in C3--always built by someone else! (Playing in Monarch level-when I played in Warlord, it was way to easy,so I started over)

Well if the Theory Of Evolution is working without bugs, it's my favorite. So far, in two games, I've discovered all previous techs and only had one tech as a current option, built the Theory Of Evolution, and gotten nothing. Both times, if it had worked correctly, I might have won the game going away from that point. *sigh*

After that, I'd have to say Hoover Dam. That's just to valuable.

Unquestionably the Pyramids are the most useful. They will save you more money in the long run from not rushing granaries then you could ever save from Leonardo's (which saved me some 5000-7000 gp over the long run, but granaries for 30-40 cities on one continent will unquestionably be more convenient and cheaper when you factor in the maintainance 30-40 cities times the number of turns in a game since each city is founded). A close second is the Sistine, which saves BUKO SCRILLA when you consider that often you can get away with running 10% less tax for the rest of the game! That can be as much as 500gp EVERY ROUND in the endgame. Why it is then second is the simple fact that Pyramids can be built from the getgo and have instant benefit, while the Chapel doesn't come until Theology and needs an improvement to be a benefit.

Sistine Chapel, then Sun Tzu.
In my current Game I wasn´t even able to get the Pyramids.
My mortal Enemies the Iroquoise built them (but I built nearly every other Wonder of the world :p )

I voted Sistine Chapel....I think that the Longetivity wonder should be given free to Expansionist civs.

The pyramids. Gives the possesing Civ an 'Expansionist' quality to tack onto their other two :) Excellent for rushing through settler and worker prouction, and solid on the Culture front.
