hey woodelf, the texture now is really really way better to skin soo... i just looked at it, didnt try it yet but now its the way like firaxis textures are... but i think your 1000+ polys are still too high

1000? Really? I thought it was around 200-300.

At least I'm on the right track with the skinning.

I think there is a setting in max to export stripped and unstripped or something like that. One of those exports less poly to a nif. Ask Rabbit which one it was I forgot.
