world (earth) map: settings possible?

i would like to conquer earth, but I've got one problem here.

there is a world map in the scenarios, but there I cannot change any victory settings (i would like to remove Spaceship victory etc.).

is there any way to play world map AND change these settings?

I would like to know as well... I was just playing that scenario last night and i really wanted a conquest victory. Would be nice to be able to set that condition!

Ditto ... but I really want RANDOM starting locations and it doesn't appear to be an option

You can check in the modding section of the civ4 forums.. There were a good number of user-made maps and lots of other things too. I already downloaded an Earth map with 18 civs, but havent installed it yet.

It is a scenario that works like Rhye wanted it to. You can edit it to work the way you want it to.
