I agree that occasionally political correctness can go to far, but what is wrong with using more appropriate and less offensive terms for people. I would just like to say that if you think that the US has a racist History and that we still are talkin like it then take a look at where Europe is.... or better yet take a look at Europe's history.

P.S.-Just to let you know if I was black and know everyhing I know right now I honestly might be insulted to be called African. Do you know what they do over in Africa. Bobby Lee, you are an idiot. You talk about the U.S. not being as racist as other nation-states, and how racism is almost non existant in america. But every entry you submitted was racist ( or atleast extremely bias ) in many ways.
You are right. The United States is not as racist as Sri Lanka, where the tamils and singhalese are at each other throats, or Bolivia where native americans are practically in slaved, but the U.S. is definetly a utopia. Every one who is not white and male has significant obsticles to over come despite equal opportunity legislation. Alright. Im not big on posting, Im more of a obsever, But I just want to say something to "Pimp The System" You Mentioned that People who are not White Male have to face obsticals, Well. In my vision yours wrong. African Americans are getting the better of the two worlds because the "White" Folk feel bad for what they did before. Slowly The Tides are Changing and its The Black Man who gets the job, not the white man ust because the employer doesnt want to be called a Racist. Even If the White man is better, The Black Man will be hired. Not to mention, Each Company has an amount on how many Black People, and Woman they Hire. Its not about Skills anymore, Its about Color and Gender that gets you a job. So the only obstical they really face is getting over their past, After That they can play the race card and get what ever that want.
