Worls Wonder / World Project - Wher's the difference ?

As the topic says... (EDIT: except i was going to write "what's the difference" but somehow mis-spelled it )

I am especially interested in the Internet... why this one is a 'World Project' and not a World Wonder ? Will everyone get the benefit once one civ built it ?!?

A project can't be hurried. And some of the projects (like SS) are TEAM projects, so if your PA builds it, you can't.

This is true, i noticed it, but neither does pentagon which is wonder... so i was kind of asking myself why the differentation is necessary... I have kind of a weird feeling, that there was some deeper thought behind it, which perhaps did not got implemented...

Or they just wanted to be able to write "Exciting Wonders AND Projects" on the box...
