now that I've created this thread, I won't be able to read it until I play WOTM58 myself.

OK, I will be first.

Settled 2S of Pigs to get gold in BFC.

Oracled CS in 725BC. I was pretty nervous. Had put library on hold to build the Oracle. Screenshot shows where I settled to get Copper/Sheep/Gold. (It was going to be 1N but HC settled Tiwanaku, so I grabbed the resources by settling next to them). Incan culture has stolen them, but Oracle/Library will get it back.

1AD completely peaceful game. Cathy founded the first 3 religions and I got Confu & Tao (GS bulb). Five cities, screenshot shows first 3. About to declare on HC with catapults.

Interesting map, seems to be Lakes with world wrap. I expect some fast conquests and early dominations.

edit, ah - in he minimap you can see where Washington took city spots to my south I had wanted.

I also scouted south, saw the gold, and decided to settle 2S of pig to get it. Pretty brown however, so I am not completly sure this was the correct decision.

I did not build a single wonder, but rexed quite aggressively, and went after cathy with cats and Impies (is that what our unique is called?)...

So, at 1AD, I have no wonders, and no great people born... My economy is pretty much tanked... I do however have something like 15 cities, include Cathies former capital, and am starting to build courthouses to recover the economy. I will take cathy completly out within a couple of turns, and the plan is then to continue with Monty as fast at the economy can support.

Did not see the gold, settled SW of pig.

Stole 3 workers from Alex, and yes that was a long walk back home. (and I did lose one). After waiting for a long time I finally managed to steal 2 from HC and 2 from Catherine.

Oracled Currency in 925bc

At 1AD I have 11 cities including one barb and Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novgorod.
I took Monarchy for peace, leaving Cathy with one city.

Washington is next, he's got some marble I want
