Even if you dont intend to play them its fun to have other civs to play against. Im thinking about my first GS game to just play one of my favorite civs vs all the new guys.

I would buy any DLC released for Civ though.

But that applies to any DLC for this game for me.
I rarely buy more than two games a year anyway as I’m just a casual gamer who plays games no more than a few hours a week maximum. Civ 6 is a game I spent more hours in than any before (even Skyrim which I also love)

So the added cost of a DLC is peanuts especially considering the value for me personally

I see it this way. This game has saved me money in fact, by on occasion staying in to play a multiplayer game instead of going out to a movie or out with friends.
