Again with the three years. I literally just posted a more expanded timeline in the previous post.
@IgorS Its been argued a few times here that, aside from Palmyra being around quite a bit longer than its 3 most famous years.
It might not be that people aren't hearing you. It could just be that people aren't finding the argument to be compelling despite the insistence, in which case repetition isn't a solution. May just be easier to accept that they're in a different camp.

@The Kingmaker I've been thinking about how that would be the perfect ability for Zenobia to have. At this point I'd be a bit disappointed if she wasn't one of the post-R&F DLC civs and didn't have that ability!
Wouldn't a leader ability that vaguely ties into the loyalty system would be a perfect ability for pretty much any leader? Leaders who can't unite their people shouldn't really be considered leaders.

It's like all those civ's that have abilities that generate faith (Georgia being the latest). It's a generic and all-purpose resource, so more often than not it will fit whatever vessel you pour it into.

Why the weird Canada vs. Palmyra question? I don't think I've seen such unlike civs pitted against each other before.
Took a looong time for someone to finally ask this. Too long.

My guess is that it's just so dark at the very bottom of the barrel that you just go with whatever two civ's that come up on the tip of the ol' scraping implement.

I mean, you can have a civ that most people know of but are utterly unfascinated by, or you can have a footnote civ that nobody knows about other than the history-hipster elite. It's just a matter of choosing the flavor of indifference you're going for. :)

Regarding Zenobia, I would have liked to have seen figures like this used as what we know of as governors. Basically, another venue for great historical persons. So, instead of Victor the Castellan, we get Zenobia. Instead of Liang the Surveyor, we might get Imhotep or Art Deco. And so on.

Canada I'm a little torn on. When they designed their flag, they were like "You know what we really want people to think of when they look at our flag? Syrup." Some might call that a strategic error. But you know what? Most people just have colored stripes. At least the Canadian flag is about something.

Canada's not a domination civ, it's not religious civ, so.....science or culture? Does Canada actually a lot of tourism? I guess they could have an ability having to do with affordable pharmaceuticals generating tourism.

I didn't make up those regnal numbers, you know. Dates and events aren't subjective. They either happened or they didn't.
