Wrong CD Error...

Has anyone actually found a way to fix the error where it tells you you don't have the correct CD in when you do?

If I keep trying to run it over and over and over again, it will eventually work, but it takes a while. This morning it took me 20 minutes before it actually let me run it.

I love the game once I get in and it's running fine on my computer, but I'm getting really annoyed at having to take 15-30 minutes to get it started.

Any advice?

Have you tried flipping the discs ? Some early releases had the "Play" label put on the wrong disc causing all sorts of wierd issues

I have the same problem, Kathleen. The only thing that I have found that consistently works is a reboot. FWIW, it does not happen as often (to me anyway) after the last patch.

@Zydor - This is not the disc labeling issue. Civ's copy protection kicks in sometimes and says the CD is not loaded when it actually is.
