wrong disc message

my computer crashed 2 weeks ago and i had to update video card and cpu. Also had more RAM added. I installed Cvi4 last night just to see how well the graphics ran and the game worked fine.

Left the computer running overnight to download tv show torrent. When i tried run Civ4 today I got the wrong disc error message (mine is a version that mislabeled disc 2 as play) I uninstalled/reinstalled the game and still get message

running windows 7 pro, Nvidia GeForce 7800GT, amd athlon II x4 620 processor motherboard is Foxconn M61PMP-k

Um, Did You download the game a from "torrent" Because this part seems wrong..
(mine is a version that mislabeled disc 2 as play)

Now If you did download a torrent Techincally i have to say don't be cheap. & If You did not Did you scratch the cd or damaged it in any kind of way?Now If you left the game running for 1 day the Cd will overheat or so.

didnt download the game. no visible scratches, as i said i can install the game just not play. by the way i have not downloaded the patch as in the past i could never run the game w the patch.

was thinking of just buying new disc civ 4 complete is running about 18.00 on ebay
