Hello! I play Civilization since many years and I've tried every possible combination of map option till I've no more any particular preference. So now I often like to play just with random options.
I noticed something odd and for me pretty annoying. Selecting a random size I noticed that there were a wrong number of city states in the game. For example 16 city states in a Duel map or 4 city states in a Huge map.
After many experiments I understood that the game in some way memorize the number of city states of your last game and it always pick it if you select random size. I tried to reset advanced options, but I only managed to get the standard number of city states (12). Apparently there's no way to get the right one with the random size.
This makes impossible to play a random size map with the correct number of city states.
Is it a known problem (I suspect not since I didn't find anything useful on internet, but it must be a pretty old bug)?
There's any way to fix this?
Hope you have a solution, cause this is bothering me so much...
