I've modded the CIV4BuildingInfos.xml file (a copy of it of course ^^) and I get this error when I load it up but I can't seem to find a problem with it.

"Failed Loading XML file xml\Buildings/CIV4BuildingInfos.xml
[.\FXml.cpp:133] Error parsing XML File -
File: xml\Buildings/CIV4BuildingInfos.xml
Reason: A name contained an invalid character

Line: 27006, 4
Source:
<CivicOption>NONE</CivicOption>"

I'm sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place I wasn't sure where it should go.

Thanks in advance if you can help me :)

This is exactly the right place, don't you worry about that. ;)

That line error seems too far down the file to be caused by loading a pre-BtS file into BtS. This kind of error can happen if Civ expects to see a certain XML tag and it finds another one instead. Did you copy and paste this building from a mod component from a previous version of Civ? Are you using BtS, or are you running Warlords or Vanilla Civ?

Whatever version of Civ you're using, look at the CIV4BuildingInfos file and check line by line with your modded building entry to be sure all your XML tags are there and in the right order. If there is a missing tag, copy it into your modded file. If that line isn't present in the file and you're running an earlier expansion of Civ, you should probably axe the line.

Look for the original file in Beyond the Sword/Assets/XML for BTS, Warlords/Assets/XML if Warlords is your latest expansion, and just Assets/XML if you don't have any of the expansions.
