You Know What I REALLY Miss From Civ 2?

Hehe, I always look back on Civ 2 diplomacy fondly. I guess it's simply because it wasn't so fiddly, as technically inferior as it may have been...

Miss:

-wonder movies
-high council
-actually dangerous barbs
-the ability for air units to take off in one city, bomb, and then land in another city
-subs can carry missiles
-wlt*d does something more than marginally useful

Don't miss:

-trade system
-using enemy rails/roads
-stack death
-very predictable combat
-limited diplomacy
-spies/diplomats/bribing
-sack a city? get a tech!
-every tech slows down research
-howizters
-bombers sitting outside of cities after bombing
-conquered cities 100% productive after 2 turns
-overpowered wonders: Leo, Mike's Chapel, Adam Smith
-fundamentalism
-caravans for rushing wonders
-wlt*d growth

What I really miss from civ 2 are:
* Wonder movies
* Advisor Council animations
* The spy
* Turning tundra into grassland
* Tech poster
