    Main Windows gaming machine:

Lian Li PC-60 case (purchased brand new when it first came out -- one of the best things I ever purchased for my computer)
    AMD AthlonXP PR3200 @400Mhz FSB
    1GB DDR3200 @400FSB, running Dual Channel
    Epox 8RDA3+ MB, nforce2 chipset
    7200RPM 120GB Maxtor
    Toshiba DVD-ROM
    M-Audio Revolution 7.1 Sound Card
    Intel Pro/1000T NIC
    ATI Radeon 9000 w/ 128MB

Sound is routed via the coax digital out to a HK-125, which either drives a pair of Energy bookshelf speakers, or a set of Sennheiser cans.

Occasionally, I use a laptop to play civ on airplanes/trains/ferries:
    Dell Precision M50
    Intel P4M 2.4Ghz
    1GB PC2700 DDR
    Nvidia Quadro4 700GL w/ 128MB
    Hitatchi 5400RPM 60 GB HD
    15.4" screen

For linux gaming, I use the following laptop:
    Compaq Evo
    Intel P4M 1.4Ghz
    512MB RAM (unknown type)
    cheeseball ATI Mobility
    40GB HD
    14" screen
    Redhat 6.2
    textmode only, running at 1024x768
Use purely for nethack 3.4.3 :D

I have assorted other workstations, and 3 Sun boxes, but those are the main ones I use. Have a gigabit LAN, with one of the Sun servers running a Checkpoint firewall to provide NAT and firewalling capabilities.

Wow, there are some very, very nice machines that us CFCers have, I am impressed!!!

    Mine pales by comparison.

I should mention my parents - this is funny, and for only $800 CDN!!!

    - AMD Athlon 2500+ GHz
    - 256 DDR-SDRRam
    - 80 Gig HD
    - Some kinda crappy, Intergrated Video and Sound, 32 Mb Video, I think. Adequate, but barely.
    - Old Speakers, old monitor, etc.

    Its crappy.
