Zulu Achievement

I searched for this and couldn't find it listed anywhere, I apologize in advance if this has been asked a zillion times. I'm looking at the achievements for the the Zulu under Brave New World. "Run 50 miles and then fight a battle" Have an Impi get all the special promotions. What exactly does this mean? Are these promotions for all melee units or are these some special promotions for Impi only? Thanks in advance for any help or info you can provide.

You need to build an Impi in a city with an Ikanda (Barracks replacement). That Impi will start with Buffalo Horns and 15 xp, so you'll be able to chose another promotion once it's out. Chose the other Buffalo something promotion and gather 15 more xp for the next promotion. Then you can chose the final 3rd Buffalo something promotion and get the achievement.

These promotions are unique to all pre-gunpowder melee units which were built in a city with an Ikanda - the achievement requires it to be gotten on an Impi.. still very simple.

I got mine by simply starting a game as zulu in that africa scenario game. There's several impis in there with full promos, just fight a battle in it and ur golden.

It was unintended achievement gain to be honest.
