Zulu War! Return of the revenge!

For the veterans who took part in the CFC zulu bashing a long time ago, I'm pleased to announce that the eponym game will be released in november.
Zulu war will be a RTS, and will take place in the late XIX century. When the Zulus fought British forces. Uh btw, I think they lost (the Zulus of course), because spears against muskets aren't a good choice <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif" border=0>

I must say, the graphics look very cool indeed. No doubt I shall be an expert at this game!

This is an excellent post...I will certainly be looking into getting this game! I will have my brits build trenches...and then see if I lose anybody! PLUS I will make sure that the ammunition boxes are not nailed shut -thus the disaster at islwandawana...

Funny thing in the Zulu war was that reinforcements were sent from Britain to aid the forces in South Africa and the war was over b4 they entered combat!

When will Sikhs me out...killing Sikhs with my well trained British infantry...then Deverish...with my well trained british infantry killing Deverishs in revenge for Gordon...and then Aborigini and Maori and -snip.

I not gonna get this. It's probaly going to be set up where it is practicaly impossible to kill those little savages running around with pitchforks and then somehow 100 "zulus" will somehow miraculasly kill 1000 Brits

and no spy, this game is supposed to be realistic, so i don't think 100 zulus can kill 1000 brit with muskets. But I admit they can kill 10,000 hippos easily

Oooooooooh, I wanna get my hands on this game. But I'll bet every single level is a hopeless situation for the british where they're outnumbered 10 to 1 and the only way out is you superior leadership.....

Death to Zulus, Death to Russians, Death to Mongols, death to Chinese, Death to Vikings, Death to _______, Death to Fill In The Blank. All opponents in Civ II are treated equally... death to them all! Death to FITB! (fill in the blank)

The graphics look much like those from Risk II, esp. the overhead shots. I wonder if they are using the same rendering engine.

Easy. Give Brit muskets, let them ride hippos and watch them changing the color of the green battlefield into crimson and wreaking havoc everywhere. The game should be like that.

Now for our favorite 100 tons pachyderm, CoH, when I said "ride", I didn't mean anything

Mmm...The south African government before 1991 would be very interested in knowing the answer.....

And you know what I just heard? Yeah, see, there's going to be another tribe involved...lets just call them the, oh, I don't know. The "Mongols" for example. yeah, that's good. They'll be led by this really dumb guy that likes to watch hippos shower, let's call him genghisK for the time being (what a dumb name!

) Anyway, the long and the short of it is that he and his men form circles of love around the british camp each morning to try and stop them from attacking, but then the Zulus come and stick spears in their back and eat them for breakfast, or feed them to neighbouring hippos

... yeah, excepted that he forgets one detail.
_ Hippos, especially those who live in Canada don't have anymore teeth to chew Mongold flesh, because they lost their numerous box fighting against the mongol leader (who will remain anonymous, because I'm so modest

). THe didn't even need his bow or spear to teach them a lesson.
_ Mongols never come to Africa to mess with those pitiful hippos, which are not worthy opponents. The problem is that hippos always try to kiss the mongols a** to gain an alliance.

And sorry that were 2 exceptions...
