ZWK - Relived!

:goodjob: Wow Eivind, what an advance. In Italy a new holiday was created: the Eivind-day. Every year on this day we will commemorate the day Führer Eivind surprised the world in taking the war on England soil.

MASSIVE RETALIATION!!!!

On this great day in British history, yet again has Britain held through a great struggle, striving for independence. Many a time have the English repulsed offensives from the enemies of Britain, and once again it is clear we will do so again. Britons all around the Empire have risen up to arms to save the motherland! The work ethics of the common Briton have been put to the test, and our pure ingenuity has shown great advantages to the RAF, Royal Navy and the Royal Army. Improvisations to beat the hordes of fascism have proved successful. Posters Empire-Wide have been posted, depicting a proud soldier shouting "Take one with me!" Such patriotism and willingness to defend their homes, families and country should alone stop the Germans in their tracks. But no, they choose to wallow on in the beaches, hills, grasslands and forests of Great Britain. We will not fail against these Nazi's! They will learn the lesson; the lesson that Great Britain will prevail. It will, and has, prevailed through centuries of bloodshed and imperialism. Our brave soldiers fighting in the motherland have used their skills to bring down vastly larger numbers of enemies, with a valor unmatched in the history of warfare. German tanks, planes and even a pocket battlecruiser were destroyed. Sadly, the frontline city of Dover was destroyed in the firefights, and the people killed are sorely missed. They will be avenged, as all of Great Britain is mobilized to meet this new and evil threat of Fascism. This is no longer a war of Europe, this is a war of the world. May God be with us on this finest hour of ours.

Smyrna captured as planned.

The delay of the Allies for one turn was all we needed: The newly created AA-Team immediately was commissioned into service and shot down the Allied planes over Tripoli.

May I also announce some naval victories:

TWO U boats sunk in the North Sea!

ONE U boat sunk in the Medditeranean!

In addition to the capitol ship sunk in Dover! :D

Overlord: Damn. :( Your hanging on by a thread, aren't you.

Guys I guess I kinda screwed up on that last turn. I accidentally loaded it up with my other zwk rules files which I use for tests and experiments. I'll replay my turn immediately, apologies for any inconvenience.

Nothing personal, and correct me if I am wrong, but I got a little suspicious in week 30.

Could you please tell me how you managed to end your spitfire in the middle of France?

(BTW, do not mind the graphics, I use some self-made units graphics for this scenario simply beacuse I like them better:crazyeye: )

From a carrier I reckon.

edit: nevermind, Ohwell posted while I was typing this

Well this whole thing is a little bit unfair now because as Ohwell know an AA-gun is in Tripoli he just moved his plane over water an voila can't do something against him. It's a delicate turn because I might got an advantage in Africa out of this but that's life and I can understand it, of course you will place your units in another way when you know what’s there. I got you by surprise but that won’t work a second time. You got a new chance and you used it, ok.

...and there go Kristiansand & Sivas.

I don't mean to insult you but I've had that going back and forth through airbases for several turns. :p I sent it up from Gibraltar for no other reason than to annoy the heck out of you.

Allright, sorry then :crazyeye:

Why did the game stop? Let's continue, I am looking forward to crush the Brits :tank:

...oops, just realized it was my turn...:p

"...London Bridge is falling down..." :D

London captured, the Wehrmacht are pushing deeper and deeper into Britain. This must the end of the high moral of the British soldiers...or is it not?

Two Capitol Ships sunk in the North Sea. One by a sub, and one from the air, although heavy air casualties by the Luftwaffe.

Saloniki captured, the trip down to Athens has begun.

Madrid still under bombardment.
